The latest News! * -MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW BLUESY YEAR 2012..!! The year of 2011 has been another great one for me with nice gigs! It have been SO interesting and yet again I've learned so much, both musically and as a person.. Just like last year, it's just amazing how many GREAT people I've met.. Musically, again, the best year so far. I'm blown away! THANKS all of you who find me and my music interesting!! There's more stuff to come soon so keep checking back people!!!! Meeting new friends and musicians is truly a blessing!! Maybe we'll meet somewhere!!? Thank you all new and old fans & friends, and I hope to see you again real soon..!!!! * -Folks, check out the Diddley-Bow!!! Just finished my first cigar box guitar! Great fun! The diddley bow is typically homemade, consisting usually of a wooden board and a single wire string stretched between two screws, and played by plucking while varying the pitch with a metal or glass slide held in the other hand. A glass bottle is usually used as the bridge, which helps magnify the sound. The diddley bow is significant to blues music in that many blues guitarists got their start playing it as children, as well as the fact that, like the slide guitar, it is played with a slide. I just recorded a song using my iPhone and the app FourTrack, it's absolutely freakin' impressive how you can turn the telephone into a mini studio for quite good recordings, haha!! Tillsammans kan vi genomföra en konsert med gamla traditionella spirituals, helt enkelt "andliga blueslåtar" och din kör sjunger med oss. Till exempel: Jag och mina medmusiker börjar konserten genom att spela 3-4 låtar och sedan kommer kören upp på scénen och vi sjunger, låt oss säga, 6-8 gospelblueslåtar tillsammans!
